Visit from Mrs. Essix - Guest Speaker on Career as an ICU Nurse

On April 6th, 2010 we had the wonderful privilidge of having Mrs. Essix come to class and teach us a little bit of what her work day is like.  She did a wonderful job bringing in all kinds of equipment that she uses at work and explaining how they are used.  She also explained some of the physiology involved with the respiratory and the cardiovascular systems, also why taking good care of your body is important and how amazing God made our bodies.  Every student got to be a part of the medical team that Mrs. Essix works with!  Below are pictures taken (thank you Bethany!).  Enjoy.
